The league season ended for the Juniors with a disappointing loss at home to North End. With the team on a bit of a dip from the result on Wednesday, it didn't come as big a blow as some had expected as we had been receiving updates from Forfar where Carnoustie were once again winning to take the league title.

As disappointed as the club is with the final outcome, anyone involved with the club this last couple of years should hold their head high. From being refused the trophy in the old second division, despite having an unbeaten record when the league was suspended, to where we sit just now is a remarkable achievement for our club. For us though, unlike so many, our season continues with a cup fixture to look forward to on Saturday when we welcome Arbroath Vics to Craigie Park for the 1/4 final tie of the Thornton's Cup. With that and a final on the 4th June, the Juniors still have plenty to play for.

The youths bounced back from a defeat on Sunday to get a victory over Riverside 04's tonight. They still have a couple of league games to go. No indication of when the next game is, but we'll do our best to advise.
